Talk to me, not @me

Social networking and communication tools, such as AIM, Facebook, and Twitter, have changed the way people interact with one another. Modern technology has reduced society�s dependence on face-to-face communication; now messages and news are transmitted indirectly through IMs, status updates, and tweets. This work recognizes the shift in communication and calls for a return to more direct, personal interaction.
